How to trigger an Alexa device upon motion detection on the Arlo camera?
Alexa is not just about weather updates, keeping reminders, and playing music and stuff. It’s much more than that. When paired with your Arlo cameras, it can help you manage tasks effectively. Alexa-enabled devices can help you receive announcements or trigger other smart home devices whenever motion is detected on any of your installed Arlo cameras. To understand this, if motion is detected at your front door, Alexa can activate the smart lights on the front porch. This ability can help you automate several of your smart home functions and make the most out of your devices. If you are looking for information on how to activate Alexa devices and perform a certain task, this blog will walk you through the complete information.
Things you’ll need

skills on the Arlo camera, you’ll need to create an Alexa routine. To do that,
you’ll need some equipment as under:
● At
least one Arlo camera
● Amazon
Alexa App installed
● Alexa-enabled
device (can be your Echo, FireTV, Fire Stick, etc.)

If you don’t know how to enable
Alexa skills you can ask Alexa to enable the same for you. Say- “Alexa! Enable Arlo Skills.” Or, you can
launch the Alexa app and search for the Arlo
Skill and then tap on Enable Skills
to link your account with the Alexa account.
